"Deutschland-Semesterticket"
With the "Deutschland-Semesterticket", you can conveniently travel throughout Germany on local public transportation (buses, trams, subways, and regional trains)! Long-distance trains (IC, ICE, EC) are not included—just like with the regular "Deutschland-Ticket".
The General Student Committee (AStA) at JLU negotiates the ticket on your behalf. It is included in the semester fee and is therefore automatically paid when you re-register for the new semester.
The ticket is issued exclusively as a digital ticket (for exceptions, see the information page linked below)
You can apply for the "Deutschland Smesterticket" through an online portal (see links). There, you can log in with your username and will immediately receive a QR code. You can also download this code to your mobile device in a wallet format of your choice for offline use—so a constant internet connection is not required.
