Information on imagination techniques
Imagination techniques create realistic perceptions at the level of the imagination that are perceived as pleasant and promote a sense of well-being. In the imagination, images are created that are helpful and supportive for us. External stimuli are not needed to trigger this process.
Therefore, imaginative techniques are considered to be particularly practicable and economical.
The inner images created in the imagination are similar to the daydreams or imaginings familiar from everyday life. This imaginative process can take place on one or more sensory levels.
