After I have stated the question I want to answer, I feel I should explain how I am going to answer the question. In other words, I have to state my approach to the question.

I hope to answer this question by discussing arguments for and against the theses of naturalness of meat consumption, inferiority of animals, and findings of research into animal behaviour.

At the end of one paragraph, I usually signal to the reader that I will move on to a new idea to be discussed in a new paragraph.
