What I often find with essays is dashes [—] and colons [ : ]. Sometimes I like to make my title more interesting by using a dash. With a dash, I interrupt my sentence. I use it in headlines to separate information to emphasize its importance. I can make my title a bit more interesting and informative. The important information in the headline comes after the dash.
