Creating posters to present scientific data

Body

Insert the prepared texts and figures and align them as required.
If texts do not completely fit inside the fields, do not adjust anything at first. Wait until you have placed all your contents on the poster before cropping your texts and final alignment.

Side note: Linking figures
Some programmes have the option of inserting linked figures. The advantage of this is that if the figure needs to be edited again, the latest version stays embedded in the poster.
The downside is that it has to be embedded before printing (which entails an extra work step) and moving the source file destroys the link.

Drag your figures into their final size. To create the most harmonious overall impression, it helps for the figures to match each other.

Create text boxes in the boxes and insert the text. Align the text boxes in the box.
Assign the text formats if necessary (like here "Figure x:" in bold).
