Lehre 4.0 | Legal Aspects of E-Learning
Am I always on the safe side with the legal protection?
This guideline serves as an orientation aid in the planning and implementation of e-learning and is intended to help you consider all legally relevant aspects. However, the authors do not guarantee for the topicality, correctness and completeness of the information provided. Liability claims against the author relating to material or immaterial damage, caused by the use or non-use of the information provided or by the use of incorrect or incomplete information are excluded. The authors explicitly reserve the right to change, supplement or delete parts of the pages and the entire offer without prior notice.
In principle, you are always on the safe side if you constantly check your e-learning format, content or events for legal uncertainties, mark third-party material and have written confirmations or licenses. It is nevertheless advisable, in case of doubt, to contact the Data Protection Officer of your institution, centre or body. At Justus Liebig University, Mr Axel Globuschütz and Dr Robert Pfeffer are available to you as official data protection officers and direct contact persons in relevant matters. Furthermore, employees of the Justus-Liebig-University Giessen will find relevant information on legal matters in Department B1 Legal Matters (available only in German) of the Justus LIebig University.
