Upon completing this learning module, you will be able to:

  • Define immersive technologies, particularly Virtual Reality (VR), and categorize them in relation to related terms.
  • Explain the differences between various VR systems and compare their advantages and disadvantages. 
  • Comment on the didactic use of Virtual Reality in media education by referencing relevant models and research findings. 
  • Reflect on the use of Virtual Reality in your own teaching practices and develop a personalized teaching concept that incorporates VR.
