At JLU, there is a dedicated Gitlab distribution where you can easily log in with your s-/j-identifier. If you haven’t done so yet, please do it now and send one of the tutors your s-/j-identifier via email (Leon Klemm or Meike Schulz-Narres).
And here is the link to log in: JLU Gitlab
After logging in, you can edit your profile by clicking on the circle at the top right and then selecting Edit profile. You can set a profile picture, define your pronouns, set up social media contacts, or activate two-factor authentication.
Similarly, on the left under Menu, go to Groups and then Your Groups to find our course: intro-r-spring22. Simply click on this group. Within the group, you will see five groups for group work assignments (assignments are managed through ILIAS) and a group named course-materials. All course files are located in course-materials. BUT: While you can control files here via the web, we do everything from RStudio, as we have already set it up for you, and you only need to provide your username!
You only need to go to the web interface for automatic checking. We will show you how this works at the end of the chapter!
